We are committed to ensuring every aspect of your stay is thoughtfully designed to minimise our environmental footprint. From our multi-use bathroom amenities (ongoing plan) to our locally sourced dining and beverages, indulge in our hospitality while making a positive impact on the planet.

Our Sustainability Initiatives and Commitments:

• Multi-Use Amenities (On-going plan): Eliminating single-use plastics in our bathrooms for all rooms types. We’re committed to reducing waste with large, multi-use amenities.

• Go Green Program: We do not clean your room till you request for up to 5 nights, an initiative of The Bayview Geographe Resort to reduce carbon foot-print.

• Energy Efficiency & Waste Control and Management: 

  We are continually looking for ways to improve energy efficiency and reduce waste across our resort. From energy-efficient LED lighting to water-saving fixtures, every aspect of our hotel operations is thoughtfully designed with sustainability in mind. Our waste reduction initiatives reflect our ongoing commitment to environmentally responsible housekeeping and resort operations. Conveniently located waste and recycling bins throughout the resort make it easy for guests and team members to separate waste responsibly, helping to minimise our environmental impact and support more sustainable resort practices.

• Responsible Reuse & Donation: Unclaimed lost and found items are donated to the Salvation Army, giving useful belongings a second life while supporting the local community.

• Reuse of Second-Hand Items: Gently used duvets, blankets, linen, kettles, toasters, furniture, and other suitable items are donated to the Salvation Army, helping to reduce waste and promote a circular approach to resource use.

• Staff Beach Clean-Ups: Our team actively participates in local beach clean-up initiatives, helping to protect coastal ecosystems, reduce marine litter, and maintain the natural beauty of our surrounding environment.

• Wildlife & Conservation Support: Our team is committed to protecting and caring for native wildlife encountered around the hotel. Where assistance is required, we report wildlife concerns and seek support from FAWNA (Friends of Australian Wildlife), helping ensure injured or vulnerable native animals receive appropriate care and support.
