Stretching from Cape Naturaliste in the west to the city of Bunbury in the north, Geographe Bay is renowned for its white sand beaches. Its waters are clear and shallow, making this the perfect destination for safe swimming and snorkelling. For surfers, the best waves are found at the bay’s northern end, while scuba divers should head south to Dunsborough. Here, the wreck of the HMAS Swan lies waiting to be explored just offshore. From June to November, humpback whales pass through the bay on their annual migration. If you’re lucky, you can watch these leviathans breaching and playing from the shore.
