Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park covers a rugged stretch of coast between 2 lighthouses, at Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin. Its beaches are luminous in their beauty and provide ample opportunities for snorkelling, surfing and fishing. Inland, you can practise your bushwalking skills amid tracts of natural karri and jarrah forest or sign up for a guided tour of the region’s extensive network of limestone caves. The Sugarloaf Rock lookout provides dramatic views of a granite rock formation known as a nesting site for rare seabirds. If you’re feeling really energetic, consider tackling the park’s 135 km-long Cape to Cape Track.
